CME Basic Concepts for Configuration-Template
Internal Templates
Templates is for creating eNodeBs.
Templates include typical and default configuration data, which facilitates quick configuration
and reduces configuration workload and improves work efficiency.
Templates define the aggregation of comprehensive eNodeB parameters.
Templates are in .xml format.
Templates are classified into system templates(default tempate) and custom templates. Here
system&custom template means the different source of tempates, only the eNodeB template
has system templates.

Template Type Template Content Information

System templates : published with

Procedure of Configuration by CME
Procedure of configuration eNodeB by CME

Operation Description

Prepare data Before performing the initial eNodeB configuration, you must get the data, that is
negotiated with peer NEs and the operator needs to provide.
Create eNodeB data According to the requirements of different scenarios for creating eNodeBs, select
the corresponding templates to create initial eNodeB configuration data.
Adjust eNodeB data After you create eNodeB data by importing a template, you need to adjust the
device data, transport data, and radio data of the eNodeB on the GUI of the CME
according to the actual requirement.
Check eNodeB data After creating and adjusting the initial eNodeB configuration data, you need to
verify the configuration data to ensure that the data is correct.
Export eNodeB data Export the entire configuration data of the eNodeB in .xml or EDS.zip format.

Activate data Go to M2000/WEBLMT/USB to active the data you have done on standalone CME.
