- Noise from the sky sounded
like strong wind blowing

- Filled the whole house

- Saw what looked like


tongues of fire spread out
and touched each person

- All the believers were filled
with the Holy Spirit
- Began to talk in other
languages, as the Spirit
enabled them to speak

- Jews living in Jerusalem
- Religious men from every
country in the world

fulfilment of the prophet

- God would pour out His Holy Spirit
upon everyone in the last days
- Would proclaim His message, see
visions and dream dreams
- God would perform miraculous
signs in the sky above and earth
below
- Whoever calls on His name would
be saved before the Day of the
Lord comes

- Proclaimed that Jesus of Nazareth
whose divine authority they had
witnessed was put to death by
sinful men according to Gods
plan
- God raised him from death and
exalted him to Gods right hand
- Already prophesied by King David
in his psalms- God would make
one of his descendants the
Messiah whose body would not
decay

Peter
- Argued that this had been
fulfilled in the person of
Jesus of Nazareth
- Jesus whom they crucified
had been made Lord and
Messiah by God
- Jesus had received from
God the Holy Spirit as
promised and it was this gidt
that Jesus had poured on
them

- Deeply troubled
- Asked what they should do

Peters reply
- Must turn away form their sins
- Be baptised in the name of
Jesus Christ
- Receive forgiveness for their
sins and the gift of the Holy
Spirit

- Gods promise was made to
them and their children and to
those far away whom the Lord
calls to Himself
- Urged them to save
themselves from the
judgement that would come on
this wicked people

- 3000 were added to their group
that day
- Spent their time learning from
the apostles
- Taking part in the fellowship
- Sharing in the fellowship
meals and prayers

and wonders
Everyone filled with awe

fellowship,
- Shared their possessions
- Distribute the money among all
according to what each one
needed

- Shared their meals together
in their homes
- Did all these with glad and
humble hearts
- Praising God
- Enjoying the good will of all
the peopl

- God convicted people
and every day, people
were saved and joined
the group
