PROBLEM STATEMENT
We divided the wide band width into set of narrow band carriers.By modulating
data on this sub carriers and transmitted.
ADDITION OF LARGE NUMBER OF SUBCARRIERS----------------> PAPR
INCREASES.

PAPR INCREASES ------------ DECREASE IN EFFICIENCY OF POWER

AMPLIFIERS.

PAPR REDUCTION IN MIMO OFDM SYSTEMS
MIMO OFDM system with transmit antennas, over which independent input vectors are
transmitted, for symbol, is given by stacking the input vectors of the transmit antennas, =
where the input vector for the transmit antenna,
= ,=1,2,.., , {= IFFT()}
PAPR is defined as =
The CCDF of PAPR of an MIMO OFDM signal is Pr()=1-
where L is Oversampling factor
CCDF of PAPR increases with the number of subcarriers in the MIMO OFDM system.

The input vector of the symbol partitioned into M disjoint groups. The group which has N*
elements, can be defined as =, Where m=1,2,.,M
=, is a Diagonal matrix, with N Diagonal elements, =.
Each vector is applied to IFFT, the resulting group is given by =,where[].
The M groups are independently rotated by a phase vector =,
Where = and =, [0,].
The final transmitted vector for the antenna is =
The optimal phase vector ' is selected according to '=
