About us
Mumbai Based M/s Modern Engineering Works (MEW) was founded in 1980's by Mr.
Hemant Nalekar a Mechanical Engineer by qualification and with experience of
working in plastic Injection moulds.
Over the years M/s Modern Engineering Works under his guidance and technical
knowledge has expanded and progressed steadily by developing new and improved
products and inducting technologies needed for any enterprises to follow growth
trajectory enterprises.
Products and Moulds are designed and produced by means of latest CAD, CAM
software and advanced CNC machines. Our current in-house facility include high
performance Injection Moulding Machines, Drilling Machines, Universal Radial Drilling
Machine, Lathe Machine, Pantograph Machine in addition to well calibrated measuring
instruments.
The products manufactured by our company finds utility in Construction, Industrial,
Automobile and house hold market.

His vision has given a roadmap to successful growth of Modern Engineering Works.
With growth of MEW deeply embedded in the mind since childhood, Mr. Hemant
Nalekar has successfully continued to take his father's business to a greater height. An
engineer by profession his experienced insights are valued by the customers and
colleagues.

He is the second generation contributor to the family's business. He is a professional
engineer with a strong backing of business administration. He brings in fresh new ideas
for MEW to foster on the current trends and opportunities.

 CONSTRUCTION
Often the exposed portion of rebars and couplers at construction site often gets
covered with dirt and corrosion. Precious time is wasted on cleaning down or treating
corroded threads with freeing agents.
A single and extremely cost effective solution is fitting thread protection and coupler
protection caps. These Caps are produced in Low density polyethylene (LDPE) which
allows it to be extra flexible and soft. Mushroom Safety cap is very important
considering the safety of people working at Construction site. With its Unique Internal
layout it can fit on to the rebars of different diameters
