BRIEFING FOR FLIGHT
1. Carry out flight as indicated on chart and flight plan, transmit all
necessary RTF messages and position reports on the appropriate
frequencies. The test starts assuming that you have just entered the
aircraft in the parking area.
2. Obtain any necessary clearances through any danger areas and
ATZs enroute.
3. After leaving the Tain danger area your engine runs rough.
Carburettor Heat appears ineffective. You are not in immediate
danger but are concerned for your safety. Transmit an appropriate
message to a suitable ATSU.
4. At some stage of your flight you will be made aware of an
EMERGENCY SITUATION that may involve you or another
aircraft. You will be expected to carry out the appropriate RTF
procedures until you are made aware the emergency has ceased.
You are provided with a list of frequencies for Communication and
Navigation. You may not require to use all of them. If a frequency or
facility is not on the list, you will not require to use it.
