Dynamic Device-Oriented
Control System for IOT
Application
3
Global Positioning Service
GPS powers the majority of location experiences
on smartphones. Nearly every smartphone
includes GPS functionality, though its use
indoors is tempered due to poor signal reception
Disadvantages: lacks precision and
accuracy unable to uses cases that
require reliable resolution under 10
meters
4
what is Micro-location?
The process of electronically determining
the location of something with a level of
precision that locates it within a building or
room.
5
Aims
In this paper,we proposed intelligent device-
oriented control sysytem.
When detecting the approaching users ,
the system will automatically notify the
user for available device and provide him
control option.

7
Indoor positioning system
In the aspect of indoor positioning
technology, the most
applied ones include Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
There are also methods combining with
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and estimating the
location of users based on RSSI
8
Micro-location technology
WIFI
NFC
BEACONS
9
BEACONS
Beacons are a low-cost piece of hardware
small enough to attach to a wall or countertop
that use battery-friendly, low-energy Bluetooth
connections to transmit messages or prompts
directly to a smartphone or tablet..
10
Bluetooth: Low Energy / BLE
The new version of Bluetooth that allows for
proximity sensing and alerting. Supported by a
range of smartphone platforms .
Advantages: multiple use cases
exible enough to support promotion,
payment and tracking events position
triangulation supports highly accurate
position tracking less than 1 meter

SMARTPHONE
Android system is used as the development
platform for network application.
Priority is given to
control system with
strongest signal.

conclusions
This study aims at the future development of IoT,
proposing a LBS service based on the location of
users.
