PROBLEM STATEMENT

How does the blind people to know the direction of qibla


without any help from other people.
How the people find the direction of qibla when visit other
country.
The actual cost maybe too expensive
It is not a portable device (heavy)

METHODOLOGY

The latitude of Kaaba, Mecca is21.422487, and the longitude


is39.826206.Kaaba, Mecca,is located atSaudi Arabiacountry in
theMosquesplace category with the GPS coordinates of 21 25' 20.9532''
N and 39 49' 34.3416'' E.
The HMC6343 3-Axis Compass with Algorithms is an I2C device so is easy
(SDA to analog 4, SCL to analog 5 on an Arduino Uno) & interact with.
HMC6343 use to heading direction thats accurate within a couple degrees
and it is calibrated to handle magnetic distortions. The IC combines 3-axis
magneto-resistive sensor and 3-axis accelerometers, analog and digital
support circuits, microprocessor and algorithms in firmware required for
heading computation.
TheArduino Unois a microcontroller board based on the
ATmega328. Arduino is an open-source, prototyping platform and
its simplicity makes it ideal to use as well as professionals. The
Arduino Uno has 14 digital input/output pins (of which 6 can be
used as PWM outputs), 6 analog inputs, a 16 MHz crystal oscillator
Due to the fact that the person using this device is a visually
impaired person, a buzzer or vibration should be made when the
bearing of the user coincides insides with the direction of the
kaabah.
HYPOTHESIS

Battery is a power source of circuit and it is connected with the


microcontroller. The battery used 5V for the circuit.
This Arduino UNO stores data in every angle of the area to get the right
direction and A / D converter in Arduino UNO program is generated from
current to voltage for generate output vibrations & buzzer. Which is
activated from the microcontroller electrical signal.
HMC6343 use to detect qibla direction to handle magnetic distortions from
devices.
Timer use for delay output vibration & buzzer in 5seconds to stop the device.
While amplifier used to amplify voltage the output vibration &
buzzer.
Function output vibration & buzzer when youre in the local
area, the GPS will be to read the location and HMC6343
compass will search the direction of the qibla at the same
time. Then, the blind person will turn his body to look for
direction of the qibla and if the result of the vibration &
buzzer is removed, it is the right direction of the qibla.

EXPECTED OUTCOMES

To help the blind people to find the direction of qibla without


asking other people to do prayers
To help people to find the qibla in a new place
Easy to use and much simpler
CONCLUSION

In conclusion, the device that I created is to facilitate and


help the people especially the blind people to make them
able to perform prayers without any helping from others.
