PURPOSE

To study the characteristics of each resin as adsorbent of cobalt contaminant


in water, which the characteristics consist of :

As comparison :
Activated carbon (Commiphora Wightii bark) : 85%
CONCLUSION

The adsorptions of cobalt by the both resin are effective in pH condition


below 8.77.
The values of 1/n for the both resins are less than 1, this mean that the
both resins are favorable for adsorption.
The efficiency of the adsorptions by the both resins give quite large
number, those are almost 100%.
From the studies that has been done, it can be seen that the both resins
give good results in adsorbing cobalt, therefore these resins will probably
doing great too in its real application in the wastewater treatment.
