ATTITUDE
Attitudes can be define as
evaluation of ideas, events, objects
or people.
Attitudes are generally positive or
negative that is mixed feeling about
a particular person or issue.

2
3
Affective component
The affective component of an attitude relates to some
form of judgment or positive/negative evaluation of the
object, person, task or brand.
For example : a snake is an attitude object . Some
persons may be afraid of snakes, this is a negative feeling
towards snake.
Politics are typically attitude based.

4
Behavioural component
The Behavioural component of an attitude is
related to behaviour of any person like his name,
body structure&over all subjet of the person.
For example as we have already identified attitude
towards snake that is afraid of snake (negative
attitude)
Now in behavioural what is the action of a person if
snake really comes that is may be person start crying,
shouting , ran away from that place .

5
Cognitive component
Cognitive component involve belief of knowledge of the
person. This base knowledge is usually objective any
without any emotional element.
For example as we already discuss that person avoid snake
and is scared when snake really comes.
It is belief of that person that all snakes are dangerous

6
Cognitive Dissonance Theory
According to this theory, people experience tension or
discomfort when their beliefs or attitudes do not match their
behaviors. People tend to seek consistency in their beliefs
and perceptions. When there is a discrepancy between
beliefs or behaviors, something must change in order to
eliminate or reduce the dissonance.
For example, consider a situation in which a man who places
a value on being environmentally responsible just purchased
a new car that he later discovers does not get great mileage.

7
The conflict arises here:
It is important for the man to take care of the
environment.
He is driving a car that is not environmentally-friendly.
In order to reduce this dissonance between belief and
behavior, he has a few difference choices. He can sell
the car and purchase another one that gets better
mileage or he can reduce his emphasis on
environmental responsibility.

8
ATTITUDE CHANGE
Attitudes are general evaluations of objects, ideas and
people one encounters throughout ones life. Every
attitude has three components that are represented in
what is called the ABC model of attitudes : A for
affective, B for behavioral, and C for cognitive. The
cognitive components refers to the thoughts and
beliefs one has about an object. Attitude change occurs
anytime an attitude is modified. Thus change occurs
when a person goes from being positive to negative,
from slightly positive to very positive, or from having
no attitude to having one .

What is job Satisfaction
Job satisfaction is the collection of feeling and beliefs
people have about their current jobs.
According to the Employee Job Satisfaction and
Engagement Report by the Society for Human Resource
Management (SHRM). The improving economy was one
factor in the high level of Job satisfaction, since employers
have been more willing and able to boost salaries, benefits
and perks for their workers..
Most organizations strive for employee satisfaction, but not
all attain this goal. Thats why its important for human
resources professionals to know more about the factors that
can increase employee satisfaction, and how it fits into a
companys overall success. 11
Factors of Workplace Satisfaction
Keeping employees engaged and satisfied takes more than
just good pay and benefits. The following list reveals some of
the key job satisfaction aspects cited by employees:
Respect According to the SHRM report, employees rate
respectful treatment of all employees as the most important
factor in job satisfaction.
Trust Perhaps because of workplace uncertainty in the years
following the Great Recession, employees indicated that trust
between themselves and senior management was another
highly important satisfaction factor.
Security If youve ever had to go to work each day
wondering whether your job is secure, you know it can cause a
great deal of anxiety. Organizations can provide a sense of
security through honest communication and transparency
about the companys health and long-term viability.

12
Healthy Environment Workplaces that are free
from stress, morale issues, harassment and
discriminatory practices can create a positive and
healthy environment for everyone.
Career Path No one wants a dead-end job.
Employees are more likely to excel when they can see
an established upward path, with the opportunity to
earn a higher wage and take on greater responsibilities.
Pay and Benefits Good wages arent the only reason
employees find satisfaction in their jobs, but they
typically rank high on the list. Competitive
pay generally makes employees feel valued, and gives
them less reason to look elsewhere for work.

peoples attitude are changed.
It is the act to cause people to do or believe in
something.
