What is Conflict?

1. Person vs. Person

2. Person vs. Self
3. Person vs. Nature
4. Person vs. Fate (society)
 Person vs. Person
o When the person (character)
experiences conflict with another
character in the story.
 Person vs. Himself
When the character experiences conflict
in his/her heart or mind. {internal}
 Person vs. Nature
When the person (character) experiences
conflict with aspects of nature
(such as weather, animals, etc.)
 Person vs. Society
When the character experiences conflict
with aspects in society out of his control
(such as the law, rules set in society, etc.)
