How the lithosphere is affected:

Lithosphere is the surface of the earth, this includes

the crust, and the uppermost part of the mantle.

Magma currents within the mantle affect the

lithosphere by creating surface features like
mountains, islands, trenches, and even moving the
continents.

The tectonic plates, are large moving

pieces of the earths lithosphere.

over another, hot spots breaking through
