 Contoh Abstract
1. Gas lift is one of the most common artificial lift methods used in either single or multiple oil producing wells.
Because of high gas prices and compressing costs, an optimal allocation for each well is needed to obtain the
maximum total oil production moreover with limited gas availability.
2. A new simple-effective-efficient model is constructed here which only needs data are the number of gas lift
wells, total gas injection rate, and Gas Lift Performance Curve (GLPC). This model uses fundamental allocation
method for 2 gas lift wells. By applying first differential to total produced oil as function of allocation and total
gas injection rate, we can obtain optimum allocation as function of total gas injection rate. Then, for 3 wells, it
will be same as 2 wells. 1 well is 3rd well and another is the result of the previous calculation of 2 gas lift wells
and so it goes.
3. This model can directly determine how much gas injection allocation for well in wells system as a function
of total gas rate to be injected to wells. Then by getting gas rate to be injected to 1 wells which is the rest
of the gas after injecting into well, it can be directly determined how much gas injection allocation for
( 1) well as a function of gas rate to be injected to 1 wells. The procedure continues repeating for
other wells until gas injection allocations for all wells are obtained. By just inputting data of the number of gas
lift wells, total gas injection rate availability and GLPC of each gas lift well, gas injection allocation for all wells
can be directly and simply obtained without doing any iteration or graphical method.
4. Compared with another method like Standard Equal Slope which has long procedure with lots of graph and
limited in small number of wells, this model demonstrates more simple-effective-efficient and faster
performance but yields almost exactly same results and can be applied for large number of wells.
