What is defining the scope of the
project?

What is the definition of the scope of the project? Why is it important that the
objective is defined? Well basically because all the activities that make up the project
or the phase are going to be focused on achieving this goal, so the resources,
deadlines, costs, tasks, etc. that we need to consider in the project will depend on it. A
part of this objective will determine the completion of the project (and charging when
the project is made for third parties), so that a lack of definition at this point may
involve difficulties to close this.
Project Organization

The identification and analysis of the relevant factors for the organization of the project, will correspond to five groups or categories interrelated to
each other, they are:

Participation of managers and their team in the organization of the project in general
Relationship with the permanent organization of the company
Characteristics of the project in question
Analysis of strengths, weaknesses and participation of third parties
Incremental or marginal costs

2. Organizational solutions

With the techniques of organizational development that exist today, there is no optimal structure for all types of projects, there are only better and
worse solutions, depending on each particular situation.

The relationship between the project and the organization in which it is executed will depend on factors such as:

Project size
Impact on the environment
Type of customer (internal or external)
Culture
Complexity
Available resources
Contractual modality
Circumstances
Other relevant factors
Mechanisms and communication
programs

The internal and international communication capacity of the countries is not uniform.
Advances in communication technology are made in stages, and although previous
advances are perpetuated, each country grants a different degree of confidence to
each type of progress according to their needs and limitations.

It is important that educators understand the logistics of communications in each

particular country and do not try to establish programs that rely on high-tech systems
that can not be maintained or put into practice.
Project Program

A project is more than a set of works designed to expand the installed capacity of the public sector, either through the
expansion or integration of a productive unit or a group of homogeneous production units that are capable of operating
autonomously.

It means, in agreement with ILPES, a prospective plan of a unit of action capable of materializing some aspect of economic and
social development.

The substance of a project lies in its application to non-routine activities of an organization or government entity, in order to
insist and act in a certain area.

The stages of a project are:

Study of the circumstances and problems that motivate the project

Definition of project objectives.

Market research.

Technical study.

Organization and Administration of the project.

Estimates of costs

The estimated costs were the first step for the predetermination of the cost of
production for the three cost elements (material, labor and indirect manufacturing
costs) and were intended to forecast the total cost to be invested in a given product.
Risk management processes

The Administration or Risk Management is recognized as an integral part of good

management practices. It is an iterative process that consists of steps, which, when
executed in sequence, allow continuous improvement in the decision-making process.

Risk management is a term applied to a logical and systematic method to establish

the context, identify, analyze, evaluate, treat, monitor and communicate the risks
associated with an activity, function or process in a way that allows organizations to
minimize losses and maximize opportunities.
Change control procedures

Implement a change control process to manage the risk involved in making changes to
the system. A change control process ensures that only approved and verified changes
to the IBM PureData System for Operational Analytics are carried out on the system.
Plan regular meetings with stakeholders who might affect the changes before applying
them.
