Purpose and goals are set in advance


Appropriate people are attending
An unbiased perspective
Sensitivity to the feelings of individuals
People are encouraged to express their feelings as well
as their thoughts. There are no hidden agendas
Agenda is prepared and distributed in advance
Meeting is actively managed
Meeting end up with wrap-up; including actions and
assignments
Written minutes are distributed promptly
Effective meeting models
Annual planning meeting- the goal is to setup a clear
and coherent plan with monthly and weekly milestones
Quarterly review meeting- adding three quarterly review
meeting allows to review how strategic plan is holding up
Monthly staff meeting- reserved for reviewing financial
performance and major actions that have been
forecasted in annual meeting
Weekly operational meetings- focus should be on
reaching the milestones established in the annual and
quarterly reviews.
Daily check-in meetings- the purpose is to provide
headlines of critical information needed for those in the
team to effectively do their job

this? What is the purpose?
Outcomes: What are the specific
outcomes we want to accomplish as a
result of this action?
Process: What steps will we take to
achieve these outcomes and fulfill the
purpose?
