BUSINESS REVIEW

ZEPH Computer Prints and Services is a printing business which offers


a variety of products and services such as school and office supplies,
tarpaulin printing, t shirt printing, invitation cards, giveaway stickers,
bookbinding, rush ID picture, document scanning and printing, CD/DVD
burning, photocopy up to A3 size, posters and campaign materials. ZEPH
Computer Prints and Service was established on July 23, 2013 by Mrs. Maria
Teresa Andrada.

SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF THE STUDY

The study focuses on the different types of assessment of business operations


core activities such as Operations Strategy, Supply Chain Management,
Quality Management, Forecasting, Facility Layout, Location Strategy and
Scheduling Issues. These are the operations of the business that are being
evaluated to identify their strengths and weaknesses in different particular
areas. The purpose of this study is to find basis that will help improve
particular areas of operations, which practised by the business in order to
make the said business more progressive and more productive. Moreover,
this might help them to profit more.

location is placed on a newly constructed building and without a doubt they choose this location in order for them to
manipulate their target market, which are the students from Carlos Hillado Memorial State College.

Their supply management is weak since they do not have
permanent suppliers.
Tarpaulin printing takes longer time to finish because
they do not have their own tarpaulin-printing machine.
They offer quality prints in an affordable price.
They picked an ideal location since they are located near
their target market.
Their facility layout is okay but it is still a subject for
enhancement in order to provide faster service.
They always meet their deadlines
