cultural traits, for example: language,
dialect, art

 The element that gives a strong influence
on Betawi culture is Islam. Religion became
one of the important elements that binds
them and characterizes as one ethnic
group.

 Betawi language is divided into 2 dialects:
1. The Betawi dialect of the city, its speakers
live around the center of Jakarta
2. Betawi Dialects outskirts, speakers live in
the outskirts/outside the borders of Jakarta

They generally have solidarity towards a
