 Proceso de seleccin de ruta en BGP (1)

1. Preferir el atributo weight mas alto

2. Si varias rutas tienen el mismo peso preferir el
atributo local preference mas alto
3. Si varias rutas tienen la misma preferencia local,
preferir la ruta originada localmente
4. Si no hay rutas originadas localmente, preferir el AS-
PATH mas corto
5. Si varias rutas tienen el mismo valor de AS-PATH,
preferir la ruta con el menor cdigo de origen
6. Si todos los cdigos de origen tienen el mismo valor
preferir el atributo MED mas bajo

7. Si las rutas tienen el mismo MED, preferir caminos

externos (EBGP) en lugar de caminos internos
(IBGP)
8. Si solo quedan caminos internos, preferir el camino a
travs del vecino IGP ms cercano.
9. Para los caminos de EBGP elegir el mas antiguo
10. Preferir la ruta a travs del vecino de BGP con el
router-id mas bajo
11. Preferir la ruta a travs del vecino de BGP con la
direccin IP ms baja
