Introduction
Waste is one of the problem that oftenly faced by many cities in Indonesia. This Soil cover thickness
increasing problem of waste is related to the rapid rate of urbanization in those cities. Soil cover is fine tuff with thickness 2,74 m and
The necessity of waste disposal place or landfill site becomes more urgent. Such cases a permeable bedrock
happens in Handapherang landfill site that located in Ciamis sub-district, Ciamis
regency, West Java. This landfill site located at the southeast of Ciamis city and the
distance approximately 4 km.
The geological condition around Handapherang landfill site consists of volcanic breccia, Figure 3. Soil Cover Thickness

Conclusion
According to the groundwater level map and water physical properties data that
collected around the Handapherang landfill site, it can be concluded that this landfill
