My Idea
It is to give 10 minutes reading for
students after snack time.

When student finish reading one

book he/she can make an
interested video summarizing or
telling what he learnt or acting the
story in order to encourage
classmate to read the book.

Share the book with friends and

parent.
Reason For choosing the idea:
Encourage reading throughout the school in any
language the students wishes to read.
Easily develop habit of reading for students
Make students more closer to book rather than been
addicted to some games apps in Ipad.

Steps How I will apply ?
Create urgency Explain the importance of the idea
Form a powerful coalition Define who can help me in school
to do the change, and the reason.
Create a vision for change Set a clear object for the idea.
Communicate the vision Meet teachers and encourage
them to do the change
Remove obstacles Create feedback, Understand what
is work well, and what is not went
well, how can we improve and
overcome the obstacles.
Create short-term wins Weekly, thank the teachers and
students for their effort
Build on the change Keep looking at advantage,
disadvantage, and how to improve
and overcome the obstacles.
Anchor the change prove that the new way is superior
and help the school

that is possessed by a group of people

Recourses:
Collection of books appropriate for the
students interests and reading level.
General classroom supplies (paper, pens).
Timer.
Ipads.
Challenging
Some teachers dont read after snack time
Teacher use this time to grade spelling test.
Teacher dont show to students how reading is fun.
Teachers ask students to report on their reading. Students
should encourage to share their favorite books with other
students but dont force them that they have to share.
Finding
It hints that young students get attracted to books easily.
It also means that small children easily develop habit of
reading.
Young students can be attracted towards reading habit
if it is done at younger age.
Results Total time of reading in one week will
be 50 minutes , while in two weeks
will be 1 hours and 40 minutes, while
Week in one month is approximately 3
Sunday 10 minutes hours and 30 minutes.
