Correct Order
1. Shaving mirror. (One of your most powerful
tools, because you can use it to signal your
location by reflecting the sun.)
2. Can of petrol. (Again, potentially vital for
signalling as petrol floats on water and can
be lit by your matches.)
3. Water container. (Essential for collecting
water to restore your lost fluids.)
4. Emergency rations. (Valuable for basic food
intake.)
5. Plastic sheet. (Could be used for shelter, or
to collect rainwater.)
4
Correct Order
6. Chocolate bars. (A handy food supply.)
7. Fishing rod. (Potentially useful, but
there is no guarantee that you're able to
catch fish. Could also feasibly double as
a tent pole.)
8. Rope. (Handy for tying equipment
together, but not necessarily vital for
survival.)
9. Floating seat or cushion. (Useful as a
life preserver.)
10.Shark repellent. (Potentially important
when in the water.)
5
Correct Order
11. Bottle of rum. (Could be useful as an
antiseptic for treating injuries, but will only
dehydrate you if you drink it.)
12. Radio. (Chances are that you're out of
range of any signal, anyway.)
13. Sea chart. (Worthless without navigational
equipment.)
14. Mosquito net. (Assuming that you've been
shipwrecked in the Atlantic, where there
are no mosquitoes, this is pretty much
useless.)
15. Sextant. (Impractical without relevant
tables or a chronometer.)

Suppose a company called
Fitter Snacker has an
opportunity to sell 300,000
one of its product called NRG-
A bars to a new customer.
The customer wants a price of
$0.90 per bar. Fitters
standard cost per bar is
currently $0.75based on
information that is two
months old Should Fitter
accept the large order?
(24 bars per box, 12 boxes
per case)

Production
Manajer produksi dalam suatu perusahaan mencatat
bahwa tingkat persediaan barang jadi dalam gudang saat
ini cukup tinggi, sehingga seharusnya lini produksi tidak
perlu dijalankan secara full time (8 jam sehari) selama
seminggu kedepan. Namun karena beberapa alasan,
manajer tersebut tetap berencana untuk menjalankan lini
produksi seperti biasa (8 jam sehari). Berikut adalah
beberapa alasan yang dimiliki oleh manajer tersebut.
1. Walaupun lini produksi dihentikan, para pekerjanya
tetap harus dibayar selama masa idle tersebut,
sehingga overhead cost akan naik.
Menurut
pendapat anda, apakah alasan yang diungkapkan oleh
11
manajer produksi anda tersebut logis?
