OBJECTIVES
 Purpose of the integrated training

To provide:

• A public health approach to the management of TB,

Leprosy and Lung disease

• To build the capacity of health care workers on the

management of Tuberculosis, Leprosy and Lung
Disease
 Objectives of the integrated TB, leprosy and lung
disease guidelines

By the end of the training, participants are expected to have

gained knowledge on:
• Practical approach to lung health (PAL)
• TB: diagnosis and treatment of all forms in different groups.
• Nutrition
• Advocacy, communication and social mobilization
• Infection prevention and control of tuberculosis
• Leprosy
• Commodity management and pharmacovigilance
• Monitoring and Evaluation of TB leprosy and lung disease
activities and interventions
