mother-to-mother support, encouragement,
information, and education, and to promote a better Central Texas

from the Texas Department of State Health Services.

Registered Nurses, Board Certified Lactation Consultants
International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs)
Breastfeeding Peer Counselors who provide basic support and follow-up
care.

• No charge for services and mothers can return to the center as


often as needed.

• Provide breast pumps for mothers whose babies are hospitalized
