 Hi-tech has been in water treatment industry since 1995.
 The company deals into Domestic, Commercial & Industrial water purification
Systems.
 The company manufactures packaged water treatment systems for ground, bore
well, well, river and tap water applications in standard capacities of potable water
production from 8 Liters per hour to 1Lac Liters per hour, single, double, triple tube
water filters with and without UV attachment, softener & water vending machines
in various capacity.
 The company can design, manufacture and install customized systems to meet our
clients’ requirements. We have supplied more than 5500 industrial plants for
various applications like bottled water manufacturers, soft drink manufacturers,

Carbon Filter
 There are two principal mechanisms by which activated carbon
removes contaminants from water; absorption, and catalytic
reduction, a process involving the attraction of negatively-charged
contaminant ions to the positively-charged activated carbon. Organic
compounds are removed by absorption and residual disinfectants such
as chlorine and chloramines are removed by catalytic reduction.
 Activated carbon filters remove/reduce many volatile organic
chemicals (VOC), pesticides and herbicides, as well as chlorine,
benzene, trihalomethane (THM) compounds, radon, solvents and
hundreds of other man-made chemicals found in tap water. They are
moderately effective at removing some, but not all, heavy metals. In
addition, they can mechanically remove particles down to 0.5 micron,
including Giardia and Cryptosporidium, turbidity and particulates. In
addition, they also help in removing some iron, manganese, and
hydrogen sulfide.

How do ultraviolet purifiers work?

U.V. lamp is a short wave low pressure mercury vapor

tubes that produces ultraviolet wavelengths that are lethal
to micro-organisms. Approximately 95% of the ultraviolet
energy emitted is at the mercury resonance line of 254
nanometers. This wavelength is in the region of maximum
germicidal effectiveness and is highly lethal to virus,
bacteria and mold spores. Therefore, the water or air that
passes through the chamber is exposed to the germicidal
uv light and the genetic material of the micro-organism is
deactivated, which prevents them from reproducing and
renders them harmless.
