At the end of the lesson students will be able to;

list down the matric units for length at the


blackboard with 100% of accuracy and
convert numbers from one to another units
correctly.
In the previous lesson, students have learned
about matric units for mass.
We can measure how long things are, or how tall, or how far
apart they are. Those are all examples of length measurements.
These are the most common measurements:

Kilometers (km)
Meters (m)
Centimeters (cm)
Millimeters (mm)

Small units of length are called millimeters.


When we have 10 millimeters, it can be called a centimeter.
A meter is equal to 100 centimeters.
A kilometres is equal to 1000 meters.
