SHAPES

IN KITCHEN
SHAPES

 SHAPES ARE AVAILABLE IN EVERY WALK OF LIFE .

THIS PROJECT MADE US VIEW KITCHEN FROM A
TOATALLY DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE. HERE ARE A
FEW GEOMETRICAL SHAPES THAT WE OBSEREVED….

 THEY LOCAL NAMES ARE ALSO STATED ALONG

WITH THE SHAPE.
SPHERE(LADDOO)

SPHERE:- Like a circle, which

geometrically is an object in two-
dimensional space, a sphere is
defined mathematically as the set
of points that are all at the same
distance r from a given point, but
in three-dimensional space.
SQUARE(GAJAK)
In geometry, a square is
a regular quadrilateral, which
means that it has four equal
sides and four
equal angles (90-degree angles,
or (100-gradian angles or right
angles). It can also be defined
as a rectangle in which two
adjacent sides have equal
length.
RECTANGLE(GAJAK)

Rectangle. In Euclidean plane

geometry, a rectangle is
a quadrilateral with four right
angles. It can also be defined as an
equiangular quadrilateral, since
equiangular means that all of its angles
are equal (360°/4 = 90°). It can also
be defined as a
parallelogram containing a right angle.
TRIANGLE(DOSA)
A triangle is a polygon with
three edges and three vertices.
It is one of the
basic shapes in geometry.
In Euclidean geometry any
three points, when non-
collinear, determine a unique
triangle and simultaneously, a
unique plane (i.e. a two-
dimensional Euclidean space).
In other words, there is only
one plane that contains that
triangle, and every triangle is
contained in some plane.
CYLINDRICAL(CONTAINER)
A cylinder, has traditionally
been a three-dimensional
solid, one of the most basic
of curvilinear geometric
shapes. It is the idealized
version of a solid physical tin
can having lids on top and
bottom.
This traditional view is still
used in elementary
treatments of geometry.
RHOMBUS(BURFI)
In Euclidean geometry, a rhombus is
a simple (non-self-
intersecting) quadrilateral whose four
sides all have the same length. Another
name is equilateral quadrilateral,
since equilateral means that all of its
sides are equal in length. The rhombus
is often called a diamond, after
the diamonds suit in playing
cards which resembles the projection
of an octahedral diamond, or
a lozenge.
SPIRAL
SPIRAL:- A spiral is a curve
which emanates from a point
moving further away as it
revolves around the point.
TRAPEZIUM(GAJAK)

Trapezium, describing a
geometric shape, has two
contradictory meanings: Outside
the US and Canada: a
quadrilateral with at least one pair
of parallel sides (known in the US
as a trapezoid)
CRESENT(CASHEWNUT)
The crescent shape consists of
a circular disk with a segment
of another circle removed
from its edge, so that what
remains is a shape enclosed by
two circular arcs of different
diameters which intersect at
two points (usually in such a
manner that the enclosed
shape does not include the
center of the original circle).
