WTCs are powered by high value tenants, facilities and services. ‘The ‘World Trade Center brand’ has two distinct components: A World Trade Center is a premier business address. It is a building or a complex of buildings housing the central World Trade Center staff as well as diverse range of tenants (public and private), the majority of which are involved in international commerce. The World Trade Center may be located in a tailor made new, special purpose structure or in a building that already exists. Anchored by a unique combination of tenants and visitors, a typical World Trade Center is usually a bustling hub of export activity REASON FOR SELECTION OF TOPIC Regarding how to make an icon, I would start by studying other buildings that are icons and questioning what makes them iconic. Is it just that they don't blend into the surroundings, or is there more to it? Were they high-tech for the time they were built? Many iconic buildings also tend to show up in other fields - like structure systems, services, blocking, zone circulation, structure stability, aerodynamics, high quality with proper functioning. All this research will have the primary & secondary data collection. Primary will be done with the case studies and secondary will be completed with the help of the literature studies. I'm also intrigued by the idea of creating an iconic green building. What would that look like? I would expect it would look like nothing we've seen before With the fast growing urbanscape of Delhi and its NCR areas, vertical functioning building can be achieved by the high-rise solution in terms of commercial residential or mix land use zones ete. The city center area is the core area with maximum density of noisy & semi noisy zones that is the commercial market. A WTC grants greater office spaces, peaceful meeting areas, other beneficiaries as required. All this research and the technological advancements can help in achieving a better controlled solution that can be the next level of the cityscapes. ‘The inter-relationships of the WTC’s areas depends on the perfect functioning , halls with controlled nuisance level and a perfect circulation of humans, goods & services in both horizontal & vertical cases. Gurgaon as a NCR and as a Hub of many of the leading Indian Infrastructures.
