Seven Years War Finally Ends

Britain Strong And Proud Win For Their
Country.
Britain coming out as victors! All their hard work has paid off, they have now gained
large amounts of land from France in North America and are pushing the French and
Spain people out to over sea territories. Now the power that the French has on the
Indians is very limited. Wolfe decided that they attack a Quebec fort on January 1st
1763 by sneaking over in the night and having a strategized plan when fully attacking in
the morning. Montcalm the French Leader was not prepared to fight and due to that it
costed him his life. The royal proclamation was established to put a boundary around
the Appalachians and gave the first nations rights to the lands in the west (Ohio valley).
The British now are doing exceptionally well with the new land and resources they
fought for.
Canadians Are Upset And Furious.

The Canadians are extremely upset and furious. The royal proclamation is not
appreciated in Quebec. All Canadians are unimpressed with the Quebec act. Although
they get to keep they’re language and religion and French laws which they were pleased
about they still had many restrictions. The Canadians are partly happy they get to keep
their background it was almost too good to be true .The Catholics are denied the right to
hold a public office anywhere in Britain, which meant none of the catholic inhabitants
would be allowed to participate in their own government. The royal proclamation also
put the British over the French law. The Canadians want to rule their own government
and feel confined and are angry.
Thirteen Colonies Are Getting Better
And Better Bit By Bit.
Things are getting way better for the Thirteen Colonies. When France had control over
Canada the Thirteen Colonies need the British for their army and protection, but now
that Britain has won the Thirteen Colonies don’t need anyone! Their economy is going
up and there taxes is lowering. They have more independence then they ever did have,
which is a goal they have aspired to accomplish for years. They have no stress about the
French attacking them anymore and are hoping that things keep going well in the
future. Although the Thirteen Colonies are upset that the Ohio valley has been given to
the first nations. They believe they should get the Ohio valley. They are still happy they
do not have to rely on the British to help with their future fights.
First Nations Never Getting Lucky.

Once the war ended the first nations hoped to return to their normal life. (hunting,
trapping, and trading furs).Once the war was over things didn’t go as planned as the
thought it would. The British did not try to have good relations with the First Nations like
the French and they quickly changed the First Nation’s life, but not for the better. The
British have banned exchange of gifts and has restricted the supply of guns and
ammunition which affects the First Nations hunting really badly. Although the first
nations got the Ohio valley from the royal proclamation the first nations were still being
treated poorly by British colonist, who did not have any respect for the First Nations.
First Nation now are demanding respect and to be treated equally.
A Sad Day For The French And What
They Fought For
The sad and painful loss for France has truly effected them. January 1st 1763 was the
final battle when Wolfe defeated Montcalm by the strategy of sneak attack on the
Quebec fort. France is now in major dept, and a loss of many soldiers due to the loss of
the war. Also France have a loss of claims and no control over Canada as the British
have taken over. Most of the French people have been kicked out to territories and the
people that haven’t been kicked out are scared for their lives. France is trying to get
land and rights back by meeting twice a week in a secret location to discuss on
strategies.

Over All Of The Seven Years War

We know that Great Britain benefitted the most from the Seven Years War. Britain
emerged from the war as the world's leading colonial power having gained a number of
new territories and most of Canada which France and Spain previously owned, this
doubled Britain’s land. They also have managed to diminish Frances and Spain’s power,
and established itself as the world's pre-eminent naval power. With the war over we can
live a peaceful life with the new Britain rule.
