Reading Intervention Package for English

Continuous Improvement Plan


Background:
Data from the consolidated reading assessment
result of current Grade 10 students show that majority of
students read below their grade level. They are
described as striving adolescent readers with 13% or 93
students out of 699 having grade 4-5 reading level.
Thus, the 93 Grade 10 students who were identified
at risk in reading are the focus of this project.
