Problem Statement:
 vehicle tracking dates to the beginning of GPS technology in 1978,
Originally designed for military and intelligence applications at
the height of the Cold War in the 1960s. Existing project uses
only one GPS device and two-way communication is achieved
using a GSM modem if driver is not paying attention it causes any
accident and there is not any effective method to inform owner
about such accident. Distance alerts are not generated which
cause many accidents and once the vehicle is being stolen, owner
cannot track their vehicle. Here we solved all these problems
using Android application.
Executive Summary:
 Due to lack of emergency alert systems, many people
unable to detect location of the vehicle , obstacle as well
as accidental alert, leading to high death rate in accidents,
so there is a necessity to develop such systems along with
security measures for automobiles. The Smart Vehicle
tracking system proposes a method from which user can
easily track the status of vehicle in terms of latitude and
longitude with the help of GPS technology. It Sophisticated
security and Monitors distance and generate distance
alert.it is beneficial for timing, surveying, logistics, traffic
management and security etc.
Introduction:
Security in general is a major concern in our society now a
days The population of our country has been increasing
rapidly which indirectly increase the vehicle density and lead
to many road accidents. The aim of the project is to
minimize the road accidents which cause the loss of valuable
human life and other valuable goods and to find out the
location of the vehicle. Besides the provision for the safety of
the vehicle is also provided to avoid the theft action. The
history of vehicle tracking dates to the beginning of GPS
technology in 1978, when the experimental Block-I GPS
satellite was launched into space.
Continue…
 Early GPS technology was designed primarily for
use by the military. In 1996, President Bill Clinton
determined that the system would be an asset to
civilians as well as the military, In the 1990s,
further modifications were made to GPS
technology. These included policy and
accessibility changes. In 2006, the last GPS
satellite was launched
 Hence a modest attempt is made to bring multi
feature system for vehicle is successful.
Competitive Analysis:
 Ten years ago, there were only a handful of companies
online that specialized in GPS tracking system
technology. Today, the market is saturated with
companies online dedicated to providing GPS tracking
devices and other scrutiny technologies.
 Asia pacific is estimated to account for the largest
share, in terms of value, of the Vehicle Anti-Theft
System Market.
 High demand from customers and high purchasing power
has upped demand for vehicles and boosted the market
for anti-theft and prevention of accident vehicle systems
Objectives:

 Tracking Location of vehicle from anywhere in the

world.
 provide a security system to the vehicle.
 provide a accidental alert system .
 Prevent theft
Requirements:
 SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS
ARDUNIO IDE (Software)
GOOGLE Maps API
 Hardware Requirements:
GPS Module
Piezo Buzzer
Ultrasonic Sensor
Vibration Sensor
Node MCU (ESP8266)
ARDUINO (NENO)
Power bank
Features of Project:
 Location of the vehicles is tracked on the map as
it moves from point to point. You can track all the
trips made by the vehicle graphically on the map
along with speed.
 A distance limit will be set whenever other
vehicle trying to enter in such limit a security
alarm will be generated so you may turn off car to
prevent the accident.
 In case of accident vibration values will be
changed that will create an alert about accident
to the user or owner.
Architectural Design:
Implementation Tools and Techniques:
 Arduino IDE studio will used for the purpose of
programming.
 Assemble all the components with the ARDUINO NENO and
NODE MCU ESP8266 WIFI module.
 Connect the GPS module with Node MCU ESP 8266 WIFI
Module and vibration with node MCU ESP8266 WIFI module
using BYLNK app.
 Connect the ultrasonic sensor and piezo buzzer with
ARDUINO NENO
 Join all these devices on a relay board.

Conclusion:
 Vehicle tracking systems becoming increasingly important in large cities and it
is more secured than other systems. Now a day’s vehicle theft is rapidly
increasing, with this we can have a good control in it. This technology can
also help to advance the system of transportation and can be used in many
organization for security purpose and tracking purpose. It Low cost optimized
solution and Fully automated and secure system for vehicle
