This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitudes
of a trainee/student on core competencies such as; 1. Develop design studies, 2. Create vector graphics using a graphics application, 3. Create raster graphics using a graphics application, 4. Develop designs for print media, 5. Develop designs for electronic media, 6. Develop designs for product packaging, 7. Design designs for booth and product/window display in accordance with the industry standards. It includes common competencies such as; Apply Quality Standards, Perform Computer Operations.
It also includes basic competencies such as; Lead Workplace
Communication, Lead Small Teams, Develop and Practice Negotiation Skills, Solve Problems Related to Work Activities, Use Mathematical Concept and Techniques and Use Relevant Technologies. TRAINEE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Trainees or students should possess the following
requirements: can communicate either oral or written; must be physically and mentally fit to undergo training high school graduate or equivalent with basic computer skills; and must pass the aptitude and artistic/talent determination test
