• Primary products
– PHD server, database, interfaces, tools
– Uniformance Process Studio
– Uniformance Insight – lightweight web user interface

• Customer touchpoints
– How you hear about the products and releases
– Ordering and licensing
– Installation, upgrade
– Administration, every day use
– Learning and information
– Support (TAC, website, etc.)

 UAB Activities

• Teleconferences approximately quarterly

– At a common time for all global members
– In English

• Face-to-face meeting
– 1 day around HUG Americas

• Special sessions
– Special discussion topics as requested by UAB
– Small group of volunteers to provide feedback on new development

• Must attend at least 1 meeting per year to maintain membership

 Typical UAB Members
• UAB members come from a variety of
disciplines, such as:
– Process control
– IT (Corporate or local)
– Management
– End user
• You don’t have to be an IT “expert”
• You do need to know some basic terminology
and features

• Some member companies have two or three

representatives
– Makes sure members have a backup
– Helps with representing different groups or sites
– But if there is a vote, it is one vote per company

 Confidentiality

• Confidential information must be kept confidential

– Information from other UAB member companies
– Information about the roadmap that isn’t publicly available

 How do I Join?

• Fill out the UAB New member application

• New members are voted on and approved by the UAB members

• Priority goes to under-represented regions and markets
