first of all I’d like to welcome the adjudicator,

the debaters and the audience.

The debate competition will adopt Asian
parliamentary style, with three speakers each
representing a side.

There will be two teams debating as the

government side and the opposition side of
the house
The speaking order alternates between two
sides and the order of the debates therefore,

within the 1st minute until the 6th minute.

Timekeeper will give the signals to indicate the

start and the end of PoI allowed period, the first
and last minute are protected time, no PoI may be
made during this time.
During the debate, please turn off/mute any
device that may produce disturbing sounds.

The audience is not allowed to enter or leave

the room during speech. If audience needs to
enter/leave the room, please do so during the
transition time between speakers.
