Future Tense

Future tense adalah tentang Nanti.

Future yaitu “Masa Depan”. Karena itu dalam
Future Tense penggunaan kata Will, Shall
yang artinya akan pastilah mendominasi.
1. Simple Future Tense

Future tense merupakan aturan yang berfungsi untuk menjelaskan suatu kejadian
atau tindakan yang akan dilakukan atau dikerjakan di masa depan.

Dalam English, ‘will’ lebih diutamkan daripada ‘shall.’

Shall biasanya digunakan dengan I dan we untuk membuat penawaran

atau memberi saran atau menasehati.

Contraction yang paling sering digunakan:

I will = I’ll
We will = we’ll
You will = you’ll
He will = he’ll
She will = she’ll
They will = they’ll
Will not = won’t
It will jarang dipendekkan
 2. Future Progressive Tense
Future Progressive Tense menyatakan kejadian yang akan sedang
terjadi pada waktu tertentu di masa depan.
Kejadian tersebut telah dimulai namun belum selesai pada saat
itu.
Bentuk tense ini dikenal juga dengan Future Continous Tense.

 3. Future Perfect Tense

Untuk menyatakan peristiwa atau perbuatan yang

akan telah terjadi atau akan telah selesai dilakukan
di waktu tertentu di masa yang akan datang.

4. Future Perfect Progressive
Digunakan untuk menyatakan suatu aksi kejadian atau peristiwa
yang akan sudah berlangsung selama sekian lama pada titik waktu
tertentu di masa depan.
Bentuk tenses ini juga dikenal dengan Future Perfect Continous
Tense.
