Authenticity

 The test is authentic because the text used are relevant with the pupils’ level of proficiency.

 The text enabled the pupils to demonstrate their competency in certain skills.

 The text also integrate real life experience.

 The text required the pupils to use critical thinking.

 Authentic assessment refers to assessment tasks that resemble reading and writing in the real
world and in school (Hiebert, Valencia & Afflerbach, 1994; Wiggins, 1993).
