OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY

 To understand the sales of diamond jeweler in the first half (January – July ) in 2017 as
compared to previous year first half ( January – July ) of 2016.

 To determine the diamond jeweler sales through online.

 To assess the impact of GST on sale of diamond in coming time.

 To study the consumer behavior regarding De beers.

 A questionnaire is used as a research instrument for the market survey. A questionnaire is
formal list of questions to be in the survey. Questionnaire consists of open ended

FINDINGS

•The persons who handles the diamond jewellery business are in between of age group
between 30-40 years because in this the shopkeeper must have total knowledge about market.

•In India maximum people use pure jewellery so demand for this is high compare to others.

•96% of people are aware of De Beers because the company is monopoly.

•30% of retailers sales their diamond jewellery through online.

•52% of retailers are satisfied by the products of De Beers.


•The De beers should improve the services and problem solving issues because according to data
the company is lacking in the above issues.

•GST will not effect the sales according to respondents and they think that the sales demand might
be constant.

•The major reason that sales of first half ( January- June ) 2016 is less than first half ( January-june)
2017 this is because strike has taken last year that’s the reason that why sales has gone done in 2016.
SUGGECTIONS

• As part of India is developing most of the diamond jewellery shop keepers


should encourage online sales.

• De beers should focus on customer satisfaction like services , problem solving


issues.
CONCLUSION
Although the study has brought interesting facts on the diamond jewellery sales of de beers this study is
conducted in Delhi , they might change in different values if study is conducted in different parts of the
India. By this one can understand how external effects play a prominent role for every organization.
