FRANCE
• Which it is the school system of secondary
education?
• The " college " is the place where they are schooled
teenagers from eleven to fourteen years. It is divided into
four courses ranging in degradative order: sixth , fifth, fourth
and third .Sixth is an adaptation . Fifth and fourth are the
core general education courses .

• Third is an orientation course . At the end of the school year ,


students make a comprehensive review of the year based on
three subjects : mathematics, history and French. This test is
called brevet and although it is not necessary to go to high
school , is obligatory. Virtually all students approve without
problems
Typical activities to do in your spare time?
The citizens of this country spend 2 hours a day
watching television, playing computer games or
surfing the Internet .
Society dedicated to reading 9 minutes a day, a third
less than 24 years.
• What kind of music they listen?.
• Modern music is usually heard as the
Pussycat Dolls , Mika , Eminem , La Fouine
(which is a French rap singer ) .
What kind of clothes used ?
.Men often wear pants that end in half the calves and which
are made of lightweight fabrics . Women wear skirts or
pants with prints that end just below the knee for both
spring to summer. Both men and women combine these
lower parts of hot weather with button-down shirts and
short sleeve shirts or simple . Also opt for fashionable
shoes set made of materials like canvas. During the
summer , leather sandals , instead of beach sandals are
preferred for men and women in France as their favorite
accessories are scarves shoes.
Where cultural traditions involved?.
• France has two carnivals of enormous importance
in the world: the Nice Carnival and Mardi Gras.
• In the carnival of Nice in winter, more than a million
spectators come to the city to enjoy the dance ,
music and colorful , celebrating for almost 3 weeks
straight . On the other hand , Mardi Gras is more
related to religion , especially Christianity .
Dunkirk Carnival is the most interesting no doubt,
with full bars , bands playing live on the street ,
music, dance and drink until late at night. On the
other hand , many other celebrations are no
different from those of many other Western
countries , such as Easter , Christmas or New Year.
ITALY
• Which it is the school system of secondary
education?
• Middle school ( Scuola Media ) , welcomes students
between 11 and 14 years and includes three classes,
1st, 2nd and 3rd , which make up a complete cycle of
studies. To be admitted to secondary education ,
students must have a diploma di licenza elementare (
primary school certificate ) that is usually achieved at
the age of 11 years.

quarters or semesters at the end of which a report is
sent to parents

time?
• A young Italians in leisure like going out
with friends.
• Most prefer to go to the movies , for
example multiplexes because then you
can choose the movie you want , but
there are many girls who like more
shopping especially through the streets
of downtown .

• The music fascinates most young

preferred are R & B , hip hop , techno ,
pop , rock , dance, house , metal and
commercial . Often the genre that
listening affects the way they dress,
talk , think, behave , in short on
personality.

• In Italy young people follow fashion to be
accepted among friends .
• Some of these styles are:
• The " truzzi " dress in the latest fashion in
clothes, with tight pants , polo and brand shoes .

" Carnival of Venice " ( Carnevale di Venezia) , the

extreme dedication and attention to the smallest
detail. During the rest of the year other festivals are
also held . Although smaller in magnitude than that
of Venice in these typical costumes are also used ,
traditional dances and numerous Italian folklore
musicians present their live shows where young
people can participate practiced

• Secondary education is done once the key stage 2
(ie , at age 11 ) and runs until the 16 years. It is
also mandatory. Key stage 3 is divided into three
courses: year 7 , year 8 and year 9 are taught :
English, math , design, music , communication,
technology , geography , foreign language,
physical education and citizenship . According to
the school they can also provide : sexual
education and religion , according to the parents'
decision .

• Teenagers in England prioritize activities
like sports ( Football is the most popular) ,
reading (books of mystery and adventure )
, music and other types of art .

• At present , there are many musical
genres that have no place in the English
music scene. Styles such as alternative
rock , indie and pop roots remain alive
thanks to groups like Coldplay. But they
have also reached the British capital of
international origin several styles
ranging from soul and hip hop to folk -
rock , among others.
• What kind of clothes used ?
English women are usually dressed in casual
clothes, jeans are very common. English men
also wear casual clothes like jeans , sweater
and similar garments .
