Remember
This
Verbs must always agree with the
noun or pronoun subject of a sentence
both in tense and number.
Subjects and verbs should agree
with one another in number- singular
or plural.
Thus, if a subject is plural, its
verb must also be in plural form.
The base form is used in all other
instances.
Subject-verb agreement is not
applied when the tense is in the past.
Subject-verb agreement is applied
when the verb be is used as a main
verb or as a helping verb in both past
tenses.
