effective in producing quality teachers.
• Practicum component in the teacher
education programs:
include, the duration of practicum where
the prospective teachers spend time in
schools, the number of times during the
four-year program they get opportunities
to be in schools, and also the quality of
guidance they are given during these
periods.

- It is an innovation that is in widespread

- refers to educational reforms, innovations
or changes that result in the advancement
or improvement of education systems.
