S [Common to operation and maintenance]
 A worker takes responsibility for making suggestions to people within and outside a company
and technical judgements, passing on skills and techniques to younger generation, and
developing human resources in order to secure safety, enhance efficiency and improve the
quality in a specific field

 How to check a level of professional techniques and 5
skills (maintenance)
Levels of techniques and skills required for supervision of construction work, design and estimation are
classified according to field of machinery (boiler, turbine), electricity, control and LNG, and matters the
workers have to acquire are itemized for control (self-check and check by a manager). In addition, workers
are also evaluated and controlled in terms of core techniques of machinery, electricity and control.

 It is imperative to provide sufficient initial training as well as to formulate a mid to
long term training plan and develop the capability of the workers involved on a
daily basis
 It is important to prepare a training manual for O&M, train the workers based on
the manual, and prepare and create related manuals.
