ETERNAL LIFE

 REFLECTION
Last Sunday we came to the understanding of one of the products of eternal Life which
is eternal Justification. This product is a direct guarantee that as many that come and
believe in the Lord Jesus Christ shall not come into three basic legal terms which are –
Trial, guilty, and condemnation. In one word we can say that they will not see judgment!
Though this truth of the Spirit still seems unrealistic to most people yet it can’t be
changed! But for the sake of the principle of teaching in the Bible (let all things be done
to the edification of the Church), thus I have to expound more on the topic of
justification by dealing with The finished work of Christ.
My Ernest prayer is that God will lay in the hearts of all to come to the acceptance of this
truth and most importantly to the acceptance and acknowledgement of our precious
Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Saviour. Amen!
THE FINISHED
WORK OF CHRIST
UNDERSTANDING THE ADAMIC SIN
(1 Corinthians 15 )
21 For since by man came
death, by man came also the
resurrection of the dead. 22
For as in Adam all die, even
so in Christ shall all be made
alive.
" For as by one man's
disobedience many were
made sinners, so by the
obedience of one shall many
be made righteous." (Romans
5: 19)
Adam’s sin was a universal sin, in that it was
charged on every descendants of Adam.
What this means is that the very moment that
Adam sinned, the grasp of sin came upon him
and his bloodline. In other words, depravity
came into all men. Now there is something
deeper here. Adam’s sin was judged already.
It is wrong to judge a man twice over the
same offense. God’s judgment of sin is not in
the future but it was in Eden,right there God
saw everyone guilty and sanctioned the
death penalty. Every sin we commits today all
falls back to the one sin of Eden. The second
sin that men commits which have not been
judged is that of not believing in Christ. To
simply it, the second sin is only committed
when the first is not forgiven because the
forgiveness of the first task away the second
and this is only gotten by Believing in Jesus.

7 Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day
if ye will hear his voice, 8 Harden not your
hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of
temptation in the wilderness: 9 When your
fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw
my works forty years. 10 Wherefore I was
grieved with that generation, and said, They
do alway err in their heart; and they have
not known my ways. 11 So I sware in my
wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.) 12
Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of
you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing
from the living God.... 16 For some, when
they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not
all that came out of Egypt by Moses. 17 But
with whom was he grieved forty years? was
it not with them that had sinned, whose
carcases fell in the wilderness?... 19 So we
see that they could not enter in because of
unbelief.
" For my people have
committed two evils; they
have forsaken me the fountain
of living waters, and hewed
them out cisterns, broken
cisterns, that can hold no
water." (Jeremiah 2: 13)
When Adam and Eve sinned in Eden, death
was the outcome of it. Death here is both the
natural and the spiritual which is separation
from God. Death was the effect of sin and not
an act of judgment. Nevertheless, the curses
from God was the judgment and it was on
every man. Thus we can say that God had
judged the sin of all men and brought the
necessary punitive measure. Now the
judgment that awaits in the future is for those
who have refused to obtain forgiveness
through Christ. In the old testament, God’s
wrath on man’s sin was because of unbelief
and even hell is for the unbelief. This is
 (Psalms 78 ) 13 He divided the sea, and caused them to pass through; and
he made the waters to stand as an heap. 14 In the daytime also he led
them with a cloud, and all the night with a light of fire.... 17 And they sinned
yet more against him by provoking the most High in the wilderness. 18 And
they tempted God in their heart by asking meat for their lust. 19 Yea, they
spake against God; they said, Can God furnish a table in the wilderness?
….25 Man did eat angels' food: he sent them meat to the full.... 31 The
wrath of God came upon them, and slew the fattest of them, and smote
down the chosen men of Israel. 32 For all this they sinned still, and believed
not for his wondrous works. 58 For they provoked him to anger with their
high places, and moved him to jealousy with their graven images.

Doubting God is always the outcome of irreverence

to God and the father and cause of all sin.

21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were
thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22
Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the
uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and
fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to
uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between
themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the
creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26 For this cause God
gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into
that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the
woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is
unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over
to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all
unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy,
murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful,
proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without
understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32
Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of

from faith to FOR WHATSOEVER IS

 GOD’S DEALING WITH PAST
SINS.
(Romans 2 )
11 For there is no respect of persons with
God. 12 For as many as have sinned
without law shall also perish without law:
and as many as have sinned in the law
shall be judged by the law;... 14 For when
the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by
nature the things contained in the law,
these, having not the law, are a law unto
themselves: 15 Which shew the work of the
law written in their hearts, their conscience
also bearing witness, and their thoughts the
mean while accusing or else excusing one
The conscience have always been
God’s tool of judging the Gentiles, yet
there is more to the judgment of sin
both to the Gentiles and the Jews
alike. It will be unjust of God to judge
all men in the past and presently with
the same standard knowing that
knowledge differs and understanding
is of different levels. Thus God could
never had condemned people in the
past to hell who had no knowledge
or even heard of Him. Thus the
conscience formed the basic for
 GOD’S FORBEARANCE OF PAST
SINS
Jesus’ God-given destiny was to be the
sacrifice to take away sins, and now he is
our mercy seat because of his death on
the cross. We come to him for mercy, for
God has made a provision for us to be
forgiven by faith in the sacred blood of
Jesus. This is the perfect demonstration of
God’s justice, because until now, he had
been so patient—holding back his justice
out of his tolerance for us. So he covered
over the sins of those who lived prior to
Jesus’ sacrifice.
Romans 3:25 TPT
God presented Christ as a sacrifice of
atonement, through the shedding of his
blood—to be received by faith. He did this to
demonstrate his righteousness, because in
his forbearance he had left the sins
committed beforehand unpunished—

God offered him, so that by his blood he should
become the means by which people's sins are
forgiven through their faith in him. God did this
in order to demonstrate that he is righteous. In
the past he was patient and overlooked
people's sins.

GOD AND HUMAN IGNORANCE
(1 Timothy 1 )
13 Who was before a
blasphemer, and a persecutor,
and injurious: but I obtained
mercy, because I did it
ignorantly in unbelief. 14 And
the grace of our Lord was

and love which is in Christ
Jesus.
IN THE OLD TESTAMENT THERE
WAS ALWAYS AN ATONEMENT
FOR THE SINS COMMITTED IN
IGNORANCE, THIS SIN WAS
FORGIVEN BY GOD AND THE
OFFENDER PARDONED. GOD
UNDERSTAND WHAT IS IN MAN
AND HE KNOWS HOW TO DEAL
WITH OUR IGNORANCE.
 (ISAIAH 53 ) 2 FOR HE SHALL GROW UP BEFORE HIM AS A TENDER PLANT, AND AS A ROOT OUT OF A DRY
GROUND: HE HATH NO FORM NOR COMELINESS; AND WHEN WE SHALL SEE HIM, THERE IS NO BEAUTY
THAT WE SHOULD DESIRE HIM. 3 HE IS DESPISED AND REJECTED OF MEN; A MAN OF SORROWS, AND
ACQUAINTED WITH GRIEF: AND WE HID AS IT WERE OUR FACES FROM HIM; HE WAS DESPISED, AND WE
ESTEEMED HIM NOT. 4 SURELY HE HATH BORNE OUR GRIEFS, AND CARRIED OUR SORROWS: YET WE DID

SATISFIED: BY HIS KNOWLEDGE SHALL MY RIGHTEOUS SERVANT JUSTIFY MANY; FOR HE SHALL BEAR
THEIR INIQUITIES. 12 THEREFORE WILL I DIVIDE HIM A PORTION WITH THE GREAT, AND HE SHALL DIVIDE
THE SPOIL WITH THE STRONG; BECAUSE HE HATH POURED OUT HIS SOUL UNTO DEATH: AND HE WAS
NUMBERED WITH THE TRANSGRESSORS; AND HE BARE THE SIN OF MANY, AND MADE INTERCESSION FOR
THE TRANSGRESSORS.

47 Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said,
What do we? for this man doeth many miracles. 48 If we let him thus
alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and
take away both our place and nation. 49 And one of them, named
Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye
know nothing at all, 50 Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one
man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not. 51
And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he

G THE
PRIESTHOOD
OF CHRIST
Christ Priesthood is eternal
and His work is to serve as
both a mediator and an
intercessor between us
and the Father. Only in
Christ can one obtain
forgiveness
19 For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the
people according to the law, he took the blood of calves
and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop,
and sprinkled both the book, and all the people, 20
Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath
enjoined unto you. 21 Moreover he sprinkled with blood
both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry. 22
And almost all things are by the law purged with blood;
and without shedding of blood is no remission. 23 It was
therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the
heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly
things themselves with better sacrifices than these. 24 For
Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands,
which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself,
now to appear in the presence of God for us: 25 Nor yet
that he should offer himself often, as the high priest
entereth into the holy place every year with blood of
others; 26 For then must he often have suffered since the
foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the
world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice

14 Seeing then that we have a great
high priest, that is passed into the
heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us
hold fast our profession. 15 For we
have not an high priest which cannot
be touched with the feeling of our
infirmities; but was in all points
tempted like as we are, yet without
sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly
unto the throne of grace, that we
may obtain mercy, and find grace to
help in time of need.
And they truly were many priests, because
they were not suffered to continue by reason
of death: But this man, because he
continueth ever, hath an unchangeable
priesthood. Wherefore he is able also to save
them to the uttermost that come unto God by
him, seeing he ever liveth to make
intercession for them. For such an high priest
became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled,
separate from sinners, and made higher than
the heavens; Who needeth not daily, as
those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for
his own sins, and then for the people's: for this
he did once, when he offered up himself.

And they also, if they abide not still
in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for
God is able to graft them in again.
For the gifts and calling of God are
without repentance. For as ye in
times past have not believed God,
yet have now obtained mercy
through their unbelief: Even so have
these also now not believed, that
through your mercy they also may
obtain mercy. For God hath
concluded them all in unbelief, that
he might have mercy upon all.

IN THIS AGE SALVATION IS FOR ALL
MEN AND YET SOME OF THE JEWS
BECAUSE OF UNBELIEF WILL NOT BE
PARTAKERS OF THE RAPTURE.
THROUGH GOD’S DIVINE MERCY
AND HIS COVENANT WITH
ABRAHAM, THE JEWS WILL BE
CONVERTED DURING THE
MILLENIUM AND THIS WIILL LEAD TO
THE EVENTS AND JUDGMENTS
SPOKEN BY JESUS WHILE HE WAS
YET ON EARTH.
THE MAIN IDEA HERE IS THAT
GOD’S MERCY IS BEYOND HUMAN
FAULTS FOR WHERE SIN
ABOUNDED, GRACE MUCH MORE
ABOUNDS.
(2 Corinthians 3 ) ------------ 5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as
of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; 6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the
new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
7 But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the
children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his
countenance; which glory was to be done away: 8 How shall not the ministration of the
spirit be rather glorious? 9 For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more
doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.... 13 And not as Moses, which put a
vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that
which is abolished: 14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same
vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. 15
But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. 16 Nevertheless
when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. 17 Now the Lord is that Spirit:
and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with open face beholding
as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory,
even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
