INTRODUCTION
Bus terminal is a designated place where a bus or coach starts or
ends its scheduled route. The terminal is the designated place that a
timetable is timed from. Termini can be located at bus stations,
interchanges, bus garages or simple bus stop. Termini can both
and stop at the same place, or may be in different locations for
starting and finishing a route. Termini may or not coincide with the
use of bus stands.
Transportation is one of the most important
requirements for the aid of communication from
one place to other for visiting purpose or in the
sense of tourism.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF PROJECT :-


AIMS -
This state-of-the-art bus terminus has separate bus bays for
local and inter-city buses, plush waiting areas equipped with
book stalls and restaurant, clean and modern rest room and
even a hotel in the complex for transiting passengers. introduce
new inter state bus terminus being developed on a sprawling 25
Acres space in Dwaraka.
OBJECTIVE-

Provide an architectural solution for integrating the terminal


with commercial complex.
To provide an fast and easy flow of traffic.
To provide clear segregation of different type of traffic ,avoid
congestion in peak hours.
To provide optimum connections between all elements
$ spaces,i.e.connectivity in functions.

SCOPE & LIMTATIONS-

Framing requirement for a max nos. of passenger day in both


directions . Studing the various technological advancement in
the field of surveillance system , communication system , fire
fighting system ect.

EXTEME TEMPERATURES-

Temperature records for Delhi exist for a period of a little over


100 years. The lowest ever temperature reading during this
period is -2.2°C, recorded on January 11, 1967 at Met Delhi
Palam. And, the highest ever temperature reading during the
same period is 48.4°C, again recorded at Met Delhi Palam.
