each student)

• 5 Marks Viva (Based on Project) or Surprise

 What is a research writing ?
• Research paper must be supported by strong
facts and evidence. The paper must be
thoroughly researched one. Even if it is a
purely doctrinal research, one must support
and strengthen his arguments :
firstly (mainly) with primary sources, and
 secondly (wherever is required) through
expert/scholarly opinions coming from the
outstanding secondary sources.

• A research is not an essay writing or simply a
creative writing (however it is great).
• One must produce cogent evidence
supporting/evaluating his objectives,
hypotheses and research question in the light
of research methodologies what he adopted.
• That means, each and every
sentence/step/paragraph/aspect must be
written carefully and clearly with strong
reasons and evidence.

• A doctoral research is an impartial and
impassionate investigation into the existing facts
and subject-matter in a given discipline in order
to arrive at an unbiased and neutral conclusion.
• There is no scope for personal opinions, as the
researcher is an impassionate investigator. It must
be noted that the aim of research is to simply and
not to complicate the subject-matter.
 Title of your research
• Focus
• Read on specific issue extensively (two-three research
Step :1 papers) and note it down your understanding in 80-90 words

• Frame
• Concise your focus ( by reading between the line) and
Step : 2 develop essence of your research in 30-40 words.

• Objective
• Concise your frame in 10 -12 words and it can also be use as

After Title (Statement of Problem)

• Research Questions
• Hypothesis
 For example : Global financial crisis in the context of cross border
financial interlinkange. The following question can be framed :

• Root causes / Reasons / origin of crisis

• Identify its features/ charcteristic/ attribute with
regard to financial crisis.
• Identify any important principle / application / theory
/ model develop based on crisis.
• What reforms (Financial Regulation) has reduced
negative effects of crisis?
• What structural reforms are required in the global
financial system to address the future crisis (2017)?
