DSKP SCIENCE YEAR 3

GROUP 3:
1. EMELLY MENTY
2. JESSICA CERENGA
3. ISMANIZZY NICK
4. FERDINAND OWEN
TUJUAN KSSR MATAPELAJARAN SAINS

• Aims to provide students with basic knowledge in science

literacy by grasping the concepts of basic science in
stages.

• To enable students to compete globally, DSKP was

formulated by integrating PAK21.
MATLAMAT DAN OBJEKTIF KSSR
1. Goal
KSSR was created to instill interest and develop student
creativity through research and investigation.

2. Objective
Having curiosity (inquiry approach), apply thinking and
scientific skills, is analytical in decision making, innovation
and environmental conservation by applying pure values in
oneself.
ENAM TUNJANG KERANGKA KSSR
Kerangka Konsep Kurikulum
Sains
• The mastery of thinking skills and thinking strategies
(KBSB) through science teaching and learning can be
expanded through the following levels:
1. KBSB introduced;
2. KBSB practised with teacher guidance;
3. KBSB practised without teacher’s guidance;
4. KBSB applied to new situations and developed with the
guidance of teachers
5. KBSB used in conjunction with other skills to achieve
thinking tasks.
SCIENTIFIC ATTITUDE AND PURE VALUES
• Students will have the element of curiosity through the
learning experience of Science
• Ethical and systematic
• Dare to try
• Appreciate the contribution of Science and Technology
• Realizing that science is one way to understand nature
• Critical and analytical thinking
• Flexible and open minded
• Honest and accurate in recording and verifying data
HIGHER ORDER THINKING SKILLS

• HOTS is the ability to apply knowledge, skills and values in

making reasoning and reflection to solve problems, make
decisions, innovate and create something.
• Pupils will have the ability to survive with the challenges
they face.
• Improve communication skills when expressing opinions,
ideas with confidence or verbal or written.

• They can work together effectively and share common

responsibilities as well as respect and appreciate the
contributions made by each team member. Interpersonal
skills are acquired through collaborative activities, and this
makes them leaders and team members better.

PHILOSOPHY OF NATIONAL SCIENTIFIC EDUCATION

In line with the National Education Philosophy, science

education in Malaysia fosters the culture of Science and
Technology by focusing on the development of individuals
who are competitive, dynamic, agile and resilient and able
to master science and technology skills.
STEMS APPROACH

• PDPs that apply knowledge, skills and STEM values

through inquiries, problem solving or projects in the
context of daily life, environment and local communities
as well as global
PRINCIPLES OF THE STEM APPROACH

1. Question and identify problems;

2. Develop and use models;
3. Planning and conducting investigations;
4. Analyse and interpret data;
5. Using mathematical thinking and computational thinking;;
6. Build annotations and designs. settlement;
7. Engage in debates and discussions based on evidences, and
8. Obtain information, assess and communicate the information.

CONCLUSION
• Standard-Based Curriculum and Assessment Document are use
to standardise the curriculum of subjects and in this case
science
• Without the SCAD, the curriculum in Malaysia would be in
chaos
• The 2020 Vision that Malaysian dying for can never be achieved
without the SCAD
• For example the unity of races in Malaysia to standardise the
curriculum on every school including SJK(C), SJK(T) and Non-
Government School.
