BACKGROUND METHODS
 Neonatal death contributes mostly to under five years old children • This descriptive retrospective study analyses the outcomes of all
mortality. neonatus treated in Dr. Kariadi Hospital in 2017
 It is estimated that 7.000 newborn die every day. • The data was collected from patient medical record.
 This study aims to describe the cause of neonatal mortality and • We were identified causes neonates death and calculated case
Case Fatality Rate (CFR). fatality rates by causes of death, low birth weight, and prematurity.
• Cause of mortality, gestational age, and birth weight were
registered.
• Statistical analysis was performed in SPSS 25.0
