Wireless Fingerprint Attendance System
=Access Control + User Friendly Interface + Reports+
Portable

It enables authorized person that enter in the class to

record the attendance of employee . Ideal for small or
big offices, industries, companies, showrooms or
wherever there are students/staff/employee and their
attendance needs to be monitored.
• To maintain perfect attendance.
• To avoid manipulation of attendance.
• To make cheats impossible.
• To add portability to the existing system.

 Technology
• EMBEDDED SYSTEM
• BIOMETRICS
A specialized computer system that is part of a larger system or
machine. Typically, an embedded system is housed on a single
microprocessor board with the programs stored in ROM. Virtually
all appliances that have a digital interface -- watches, microwaves,
VCRs, cars -- utilize embedded systems. Some embedded systems
include an operating system, but many are so specialized that the
entire logic can be implemented as a single program.
• Biometrics are technologies that measure and
analyze human body characteristics for
identification purposes.
• Biometrics improve business processes
because of their ability to quickly and
accurately indentify an individual and grant
specific privileges.
• Some common biometrics solutions include:
Physiological: Face, Fingerprint, Hand, Iris,
DNA
Behavioural: Keystroke, Signature, Voice
Biometric products are not created equal.
All manufacturers are using different readers and different recognition

Fingerprint Reader: Technology:

• Optical - high-resolution • Pattern recognition
• Eliminates issues with • Higher accuracy rate
moisture and • Reduces false positive
temperature identification
• Operate indoors or • Fully addressable
outdoors
• Cards, PINs, optional

A fingerprint sensor is an electronic device used to
capture a digital image of the fingerprint pattern
.
A Micro controller consists of a powerful CPU tightly coupledwith
memory RAM, ROM or EPROM),
various I / O features such as Serial ports, Parallel Ports,
Timer/Counters, Interrupt Controller, Data Acquisition interfaces-Analog
to Digital Converter (ADC), Digital to Analog Converter (ADC),
everything integrated onto a single Silicon Chip.
 Output device
 Clearly displayed on the LCD.

 If a person enters in an ATM/ Bank, he has to scan
his fingerprint. If it matches ,he goes for
transactions.
Otherwise if any unauthorized

person enters then alarm sound will be

Heard from buzzer.
 Applications
COLLEGES
STAFF
INDUSTRIALS
CONFERENCES
 Conclusion
Fingerprint recognition is universally applied
It is very relevant in an institute
Performance can be increased in terms of speed
and memory.
A speaking voice alarm can be used to indicate
unauthorized person accessing theATM.
The system can be made to communicate with
modems or mobile phones
