• INTRODUCTION

• Nowadays, technology has become well known and changing

the world. Often, students used technology because it can help
them on their education by using computers/laptops, tablets, or
cell phones. Another, they are using it because it can facilitate the
searching of information they want to know with the help of
internet. Technically it would be useful to know whether the
students are participating in class. Schools now have a computer
lab called E – Classroom. This is where the students can have the
experience of using computers in their schools. For the 21st
century, it is important to gain a deeper understanding of the
impact of technology on education. (Granito, M. and Chernobilsky,
E., 2012). This will determine if the students in grade 11 both HE
and ICT having benefits in using technology in their studies.

 STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
This study aims to determine the effects of using
technology in students motivation of grade 11 learners in
City of Meycauayan Vocational Senior High School. This
study will be conducted during second semester school
year 2018-2019.

RESEARCH QUESTIONS :
1.What are the effects of using technology in
student’s motivation?

2.What is the overall of motivation of students using

technology?

3.Is the technology has a significant effects towards

students motivation?
 SCOPE AND DELIMITATION

This study focus only on the effects of using technology in

students motivation in their performance in doing their
assignments using their cellular phones,
computers/laptops and tablets with the help of internet.
The participants of this study will be ther grade 11 students
(Both HE and ICT) of City of Meycauayan Vocational Senior
High School, school year 2018-2019.
 SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY
Students – As a learners they will know the positive
effects of using technology in their study.

Parents – As a parents of their children, they would buy

technology for their children

Teachers – Teachers will know if the students are more

motivated to study well if they are using technology.
 CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK
This study seeks to know the effects of using technology on
student’s motivation. The diagram below further explain and
illustrate the conceptual frame work of this study.
