BUILDING INFORMATION
MODELLING AND COORDINATED
SERVICE DRAWING
• BIM - Intelligent 3D model-based process that
gives architecture, engineering, and
construction professionals the insight and
tools to more efficiently plan, design,
construct, and manage buildings and
infrastructure.
• CSD - Critical to the success of any
commercial or institutional building project
today. Coordination in construction once
referred to simply avoiding physical conflicts
in the layout of equipment in spaces and the
routing of duct, piping, and raceway systems
through buildings.
BUILDING SERVICE ENGINEERING
AND COORDINATION
• Advise about, design, install and maintain cost-
effective and energy efficient systems for building
services such as water, lighting, heating, air
conditioning, lifts, and telecoms.
• Installation works
• MEPFS Equipment Schedule
BUILDABILITY, VALUE ENGINEERING
& INNOVATION
• Buildability is a pre-construction exercise that assesses
designs from the perspective of those that will
manufacture, install components and carry out
the construction works.
• Value Engineering - Concentrating on the maximizing the
project's function while minimizing cost generates the
greatest value for our clients.
• Type of Concrete Surface Repairs
WORKS PACKAGING AND
PROCUREMENT MANAGEMENT
• Work Packaging - normally associated
with general contractors who split a
large project into a series of work packages
suitable for obtaining tenders and placing orders
with the subcontracting and goods supply chain,
thereby transferring risk for delivering
some elements of the works to others.
• Procurement Management - process
involves managing the ordering, receipt, review
and approval of items from suppliers.
PROCUREMENT STRATEGY
• refer to the planned approach of cost-effectively
purchasing a company's required supplies, taking
into consideration several elements and factors such
as the timeline for procurement, the funding and
budget, the projected risks and opportunities,
among others.
