Objectives of the Session:
At the end of the session, teachers should be able to:
• Reflect on how past experiences affect assessment
beliefs;
• Recognize the critical role of assessment in teaching
and learning math;
• Discuss the fundamental concepts of assessment,
evaluation and their relationship to learning; and
• Map out ideas about assessment.
