The TRAINERS METHODOLOGY LEVEL I consists of
competencies a TVET trainer performing functions of
trainer and assessor must achieve.

A TVET trainer is a person who enables a learner or a group


of learners to develop competencies to performing a
particular trade or technical work.

Institutional and National Assessment
Trainees Entry Trainees or students wishing to enrol into this course should
Requirement possess the following requirements:
 Graduate of baccalaureate degree or equivalent in
training/experience along the field of Technical -Vocational
Education and Training
 Certified at the same or higher NC Level in the qualification
that will be handled (for technical trainers)
 Able to communicate orally and in writing
 Physically fit and mentally healthy
 Proficient in quantitative and qualitative analysis
 Proficient in verbal reasoning.
Admission Trainees or students wishing to enrol must submit the
Requirement following requirements to support the entry requirements:
 Transcript of Records
 National Certificate
 Medical Certificate
 NSO/PSA Birth Certificate
 NSO/PSA Marriage Certificate (if married)
 2pcs. Passport Size Picture
 Employment Certificate / Certificate of Industry Experience
 Endorsement from Current Employer
Grading The grading system of the school shall be in accordance with
System COMPETENCY-BASED TEST. “COMPETENT” or “NOT YET
COMPETENT” remarks shall be applied. “COMPETENT” has a
numerical equivalent ranging from 75% and above, while
“NOT YET COMPETENT” shall have a numerical equivalent of
74% and below.

Grades will be based on the result of institutional assessment


after completion of each unit of competency in a form of
written, portfolio or demonstration / performance test
administer by the trainer.
Rules on Attendance Northlink Technological College, Inc. adopts the Competency-Based Training policy in
all its program offerings. This adoption of the learning principle of motivation,
individualization or modularized method of instruction, self-pacing, recognition of
different learning styles, provision of frequent feedback, opportunities for practice,
and active participation, make our program flexible. Hence, the following are imposed
for the Rules on Attendance:

1. The program gives emphasis on the skills and knowledge required gaining
qualification rather than the type and length of the training program.
2. Suspension of classes or announcement of no classes will be based on the
declaration of TESDA or the national government.
3. All trainees shall undergo the institutional assessment after completion of each
core competency.
4. All trainees shall undergo the mandatory national assessment after completing all
the core competencies.
TML1 Trainees are required to undertake Institutional Assessment after all of the
requirements of the competency are completed. The following assessment methods are
used to evaluate the competencies of the trainees:
