• China is one of the world's four ancient civilizations; here
we give a concise overview of more than 5000 years of
Chinese history, including the Great Wall and the four
great inventions of ancient China.
• The written history of China can be said to date back to
the Shang Dynasty (1600–1046 BC), over 3,000 years
ago. The first dynasty was founded in the 21st century
B.C., and China was first unified in 221 B.C. by Qin
Shihuang - Owner of The Terracotta Army.
• January 26, 2016—A new report estimates there were 4.3
million new cancer cases and more than 2.8 million cancer
deaths in China in 2015, with lung cancer the most common
cancer and the leading cause of cancer death in China.

small particles, if you work indoors there's less chance of
getting cancer," he said.

Research from the American Cancer Journal of Clinicians
showed that: They spoke to a man who wants to remain
unidentified. The man had said his wife had been diagnosed
with lung cancer and that he was sure of what caused it. He
said, "The reason is the work environment and the air pollution,
and because she had no cover. My wife was exposed to chronic
air pollution when she worked on the regional railways.”
But the most dramatic increases have been in the coal and steel
producing provinces.
They were a couple that comes from the coal-producing
province of Shanxi.
 Lung cancer is due to the air pollution caused by coal
factories, coal producing. Lung cancer is also due to
smoking cigarettes constantly every day. (drugs) some
scientists also think that radioactive gas causes 3 to 14
percent of lung cancer.
• The early symptoms of lung cancer may be a slight cough or
shortness of breath, depending on which part of the lung is
affected. As the cancer develops, these symptoms may
become more severe or intense. Like many other types of
cancer, lung cancer , may also cause systemic symptoms, like a

are those majoraly affected?
• In the current study, the authors review the biomarker features of lung
cancer in the Chinese population. In addition, they discuss issues that
require improvement for the production of novel drugs and provide
future directions for development in China
• Chemotherapy is used for lung cancer patients which kills growing
cancer cells. Chemotherapy is usually given by injection and, depending
on the stage of cancer, it can be prescribed with or without surgery.
• KEYTRUDA is a prescription medicine used to treat a kind of lung cancer
called non–small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). KEYTRUDA may be used when
your lung cancer has spread and, the Tests are positive and, you have
not received chemotherapy to treat your advanced NSCLC and your
tumor does not have an abnormal "EGFR" or "ALK" gene* or you have
received chemotherapy that contains platinum to treat your advanced
NSCLC, and it did not work and if your tumor has an abnormal "EGFR" or
"ALK" gene,* you have also received an EGFR or ALK inhibitor medicine
and it did not work or is no longer working
• Lung cancer rates are consistently higher among men than women and
are mainly caused from cigarette smoking

• We want to help by convincing the factories that produce coal
to use In house air filtration system
• If they refuse to use in house air filtration system, then we
would like to consider to shut down the coal producing
factories
• For cigarette smoking, we would like to convince and show
people how much damage is being done to their lungs
• We want to pass on this message by creating a website and
sharing the consequences to their actions

We investigated the world by researching background

information on lung cancer in china. We used evidence to
support our information. In china there is lots of air
pollution caused by smoking and coal factories, so people
have to wear masks.

We recognized and weighed perspectives by gathering

information from different cites and combing them to
form our own perspective of lung cancer in china.
 COMMUNICATE IDEAS

We communicated ideas by creating a power point and a

poster board With information and data about lung
cancer to share with the class.
 TAKE ACTION

We want to take action by sharing with others to create

more visual ideas to help those with lung cancer and
prevent those from getting lung cancer
